If you could put all the songs ever sung and all the words ever spoke into a little box that you have to stare at and watch the rows of tiny lights blink to get them out would you want the lights to blink because of someone trying to trick you into spending more money or would you think it important for that knowledge to be free like the apple after bitten by the eve genius. Do you want to go back to the garden and have that knowledge locked up. If you network the boxes will pandora make you some apple cake with cloves in it, mother dear?
All the pictures ever taken. All the books ever read. We are no there quite yet, but easily one can amass more songs on an HDD than one could conceivably listen to ever. All of our culture distilled into a tiny box?
